Pinoy Recipe – Filipino Style Spaghetti Sauce

This spaghetti sauce is the Filipino version. Visit for more mouth watering Pinoy recipe. It is known for being sweet. The reason I said that is because our budget for food has always been limited. And I grew up knowing that spaghetti is only for special occasions. In our neighborhood, if you see somebody cooking spaghetti, it’s more likely that somebody is celebrating their birthday or whatever. But here in the US, spaghetti is quite affordable for almost everybody. And just like in the Philippines, it’s not something you eat everyday. What I showed on the video was just the very basic. You can add a bunch of stuff on it. Whatever you can think of. You can add Italian seasoning, chopped mushroom, meatballs, hotdogs, anything that you can think of. I know someone who would put Cheez Whiz Pimiento instead of cheddar cheese, but that’s her style and that’s how she wants it. So yeah, just be creative and don’t be afraid to experiment. If it doesn’t come out good, then at least you know
