Leche Flan with macapuno and langka

Macapuno and Langka Leche Flan Recipe, I found this new twist on the classic Pinoy dessert from pinoyrecipe.net. My son loves Leche Fan so much so i’m thinking of trying this new recipe of Leche Flan with Macapuno and Langka at home.

Macapuno and Langka Leche Flan Ingredients:

* 1 1/2 cups NESTLE Fresh Milk
* 1 cup sugar
* 5 pieces eggs lightly beaten
* 1/2 cup macapuno drained
* 1/2 cup langka preserve sliced into strips drained
* 1 tsp dayap rind (optional)

Macapuno and Langka Leche Flan Cooking Instructions:

*Caramelize 1/2 cup of sugar in a pan.
*Pour into leche flan mold and spread to coat the bottom.
*In a bowl, combine eggs, the remaining 1/2 cup white sugar, milk, macapuno, langka
and dayap zest (if using).
*Stir well to dissolved sugar.
*Pour into the mold and steam for 30 minutes or until set.
*Chill and serve cold.
