My officemate living in Marikina was one of the casualties of typhoon Ondoy, their house was completely submerged in floodwater. She already submitted her SSS salary loan and calamity loan application at Pag-IBIG, now while waiting for the release of those loans she’s already looking for stores where she could buy affordable contemporary furniture, appliances, and other housewares. Their finances is very limited and not enough to buy all the things they needed to start and face a new life again, so she must find the best deals or best buys that will suit her budget.
